Job Details:

$$$$ Offering $5,000 sign-on bonus $$$

Payout schedule: $2,000 - 30 days; $1,500 - 90 days; $1,500 - 180 days.

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday: 4:30 AM - 5:00 PM & Monday: 4:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Compensation:

• Pay: $21.60 - $31.40 per hour, based on experience
• Incentives: Sunshine pay (36 hours work, 40 hours pay) and $5 perfect attendance bonus

• To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture

Description

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets within the Ossid/Evis department equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. And all other assignments that may be given.

Tasks

This position is responsible for preventative maintenance on machinery according to manufacture recommendations as well as long text in work orders for equipment. Must be able to setup & test machinery after PM is completed. Must be able to rebuild components of machinery. Must have electrical knowledge. Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Maintenance Leads are responsible for training new Maintenance Team Members. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate with other Team Members, managers, vendors, and USDA personnel.  Must be able to use math as needed to make work-related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be willing to lift 70 lbs. periodically throughout the shift on a daily basis and be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of (6) months of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application, Or

Be a graduate and/or student of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as soon as  experience is at least 6 months)
