Responsibilities
Providence Medical Center is looking for a per diem, variable shift PBX Operators to join our growing and dynamic staff!
The PBX Operator duties include, but are not limited to:
- answering the switchboard and pages overhead
- greets and directs people to the appropriate departments
- monitors the hospital alarms
- must be aware of the policy and procedures of all hospital emergency codes
- ability to communicate with population served
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
- previous PBX experience, preferred
- previous experience in an office or receptionist
- effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- ability to multi-task and prioritize needs to meet required timelines
- analytical and problem-solving skills
- customer service experience, preferred
- high school graduate or GED equivalent, required
