Join the </span><span>technology company that’s transforming the future of mobility today.</span></p><p></p><p><b><span>About this position</span></b></p><p><br/><span>As Global Logistics Specialist you will be responsible for Freight & Customs activities inside the ASUX PC&L </span><span>Organization.</span></p><p><span>In this key position, you will coordinate specific activities within the Freight Operations and Customs domain, and </span><span>drive robust cost improvement projects across the globe in close cooperation with other Global, Regional and </span><span>Plant cross-functional teams. </span></p><p><br/><span>Optimized Logistics and Freight Management will enable the company to focus investments on growth of the </span><span>business and enable flow in our operations.</span></p><p></p><p><b><i><span>Note: </span> "This role operates on the second shift, with working hours from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM."</i></b></p><p></p><p><b><span>Your Role</span></b></p><p></p><p><span>The Global Logistics Specialist will drive excellence in Freight and Customs Management, ensuring smooth </span><span>execution of our Logistics operations, with special focus on Freight and Customs related topics. </span><br/><span>In addition, you will guide the Plant, Regional and Global teams in Logistics best practices as a subject matter </span><span>expert, and drive continuous improvement in our operational and financial performance.</span></p><p></p><p><span>More specifically, the Roles & Responsibilities are as follows:</span></p><p></p><ul><li><p><span>Optimize the utilization and network design of Transportation and Customs Operations, as well as rate </span><span>reductions in collaboration with Corporate Logistics;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support the overall network design of ASUX Logistics & Supply Chain, as well as rate reductions, </span><span>utilization and creation of processes and procedures;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Manage Global Freight & Customs standards, processes/procedures and cost savings initiatives;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Own continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives in Logistics, through our ECIP and MCIP </span><span>savings funnels;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Reduce the use of Premium Freight and ensure proper authorization of the same;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Drive a robust root cause analysis of failure modes and effects in the Logistics, Freight and Customs </span><br/><span>area;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Drive the Plant PC&L organizations to deliver on target as set out in the yearly plan (BBP) in terms of </span><br/><span>Freight & Customs;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure trade compliance along with the corporate functions in charge;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Drive breakthrough initiatives to deliver beyond the BBP targeted performance;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support the ongoing functional transformation with improved capabilities and competencies;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support the annual budgeting process (BBP) and strategic planning;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Coordinate the execution of the identified initiatives to ensure the division consistently hits the targets </span><span>as laid out in the Business Plan;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure sharing and deployment of best practices inside the Organization, supporting the Regions and </span><span>Plants</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Your Background</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Bachelor of Science in Logistics, Business Management, International Relations, Systems Engineering, </span><span>Industrial Engineering or other relevant area;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Knowledge of Supply Chain/Logistics Processes (with preference for Operations, Manufacturing and </span><span>Logistics related ones);</span></p></li><li><p><span>At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in progressively more responsible and challenging roles in </span><span>PC&L/Supply Chain/Logistics in a multinational company.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Knowledge of SAP and other relevant systems/tools, and relevant experience as a professional user in </span><span>a challenging environment;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Good knowledge of the English language;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Analytical mindset, strongly process driven and used to view the performance through “process and </span><span>people” angle;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Good working knowledge of MS office and integration with other systems;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in a challenging automotive environment.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Nice to haves (preferred qualifications)</span> </b></p><ul><li><p><span>Basic understanding of Lean principles and tools;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Basic knowledge of Six Sigma principles and tools;
