To blend and package the industry’s finest coffee through excellent performance, attendance, and attitude while prioritizing safety, quality, and productivity in order to serve all of Peet's customers.
What You Deliver:
Load green coffee into the blending system according to the daily demand schedule
Inspect inbound shipments of green coffee upon arrival
Report inspection irregularities defined by procedure to the Green Coffee Inventory Manager, Quality Assurance, Production Supervisor, or Green Coffee Inventory Manager
Unload floor-loaded trucks using the mechanical Strong Arm equipment and palletized loads using a powered lift truck
Store and identify shipments of offloaded green coffee in the warehouse according to SOPs.
Package blended green coffee into super sacks for shipping, utilizing the tumble drum equipment
Report issues pertinent to production to the responsible leaders, including the Green Coffee Inventory Manager, Team Lead, Production Roastery Supervisor, or Coffee Production Manager
Communicate any issues concerning equipment problems to the responsible leaders, including Engineering, the Team Lead, the Production Supervisor, or the Green Coffee Inventory Manager
Complete and document all Standard Operating Procedure tasks for the work area, including but not limited to quality monitoring, food safety monitoring, and area shutdown procedures
Communicate any quality or food safety issues to the responsible leaders, including the Green Coffee Inventory Manager, Quality Assurance, Team Lead, or Production Supervisor
Alert Leadership to any workplace safety issues
Perform assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks according to written SSOPs to ensure a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
Perform assigned material management tasks to ensure an efficient, organized, and safe work area
Use tools and equipment correctly, safely, and maintain them with care
Follow all written and verbal instructions
Perform duties in an assigned area other than the Green Warehouse when required and instructed by Leadership
Attend all assigned safety and production meetings and trainings
Demonstrate ability to perform tasks using computers
Understand and comply with all Workplace Safety and related procedures
Understand and comply with all Food Safety and related programs, such as but not limited to GMPs, Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs), and Adverse Health Policy
