The Opportunity:

As a Fiscal Specialist Supervisor supporting Facilities Services, you’ll step into a dynamic leadership role where your expertise in project and work order accounting will make a real impact.

You’ll lead a team of fiscal professionals, guiding their work in AiM and Workday systems with a focus on state capital funding policies and procedures. Your day-to-day will involve managing complex financial tasks—from nonstock procurement and payables to detailed project tracking—ensuring accuracy and compliance every step of the way.

In this role, you’ll be empowered to shape your team’s success. With delegated authority, you’ll handle key personnel functions: interviewing and recommending candidates, training new staff, assigning and scheduling work, approving leave, conducting performance evaluations, and recommending disciplinary actions when needed.

You’ll be the go-to expert on AiM project and work order processes across all supported areas, ensuring seamless service delivery by providing or coordinating backup coverage. You’ll also take the lead on process improvement initiatives and oversee reporting functions, helping your team work smarter and more efficiently.

Additional Information:

This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.

Monthly Salary: $4,119 to $5,531 | Range 46 (Steps A - M) | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
