About The Role
As the Project Manager - Commercial Excellence you will be responsible for the end-to-end CCO (Chief Commercial Office) program/roadmap coordination and the management of assigned strategic projects, which ranges from commercial process improvements, people capability initiatives and digital enhancements.
You will collaborate in a high performing team, closely connected with cross-functional teams, and engages tightly with strong commercial acumen with global and regional commercial teams.
Kerry operates a Hybrid working policy, candidates will be required to work from our offices in Naas each week.
What will I be doing?
- Project Management - Managing specific projects throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to post implementation including scoping, planning, executing, and reporting on projects.
- Integration Management - Drive the identification and management of interdependencies with other projects within the function and ensure that appropriate ownership is taken of risks and dependencies between programmes, projects, and initiatives.
- PMO COE – Partner with the Project Manager(s) and advocate for the global PMO delivery methodology and capability to drive adoption.
- Third Party Vendor Management – Directly manage third party vendors to ensure that project deliverables are produced in line with quality requirements.
- Management of projects of moderate complexity (Budget of less than €5m, moderate profile internally and / or externally).
- Interacting with stakeholders during the duration of the project providing regular updates to allow for end-to-end delivery of the project.
- Providing clarity over project resource demand requirements to enable effective resource allocation.
- Setting up the governance for a specific project in line with the global PMO methodology.
- Working in accordance with the global PMO methodology and functional framework (capability, career etc.)
- Supporting the PMO colleagues in the function to establish a regional PMO community.
What do I need to be successful?
In Kerry we understand that people have very different career trajectories and experiences. In order to be successful in this role we would be looking for the right competencies and aptitudes as well as your proven track record of success in a similar role and environment.
These include:
- A recognised project management qualification (e.g., PMP, Prince 2) considered an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Project Management experience
- Programme management experience in the consumer foods / products industry or in a management consultancy practice.
