Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive email management and administrative support to nursing staff
Process and coordinate prescription refill requests efficiently and accurately
Conduct verification of benefits (VOBs) for patients scheduled for upcoming appointments, with priority focus on next-day patients
Prepare and deliver detailed daily summaries and progress reports of completed tasks
Engage in professional patient communication regarding benefits verification and administrative matters
Support overall practice operations to optimize workflow and reduce clinical staff administrative workload
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care coordination
Requirements
Previous experience in medical billing, healthcare administration, or related field strongly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional patient interactions
Proficiency with phone systems and healthcare technology (Xblue experience advantageous)
Ability to work standard Eastern Time business hours with reliability and consistency
Spanish language proficiency required
Strong organizational abilities and exceptional attention to detail
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance standards
Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional home office setup
Demonstrated time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
