Jr. Estimator

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Jr. Estimator. This position will be based at our headquarters in East Petersburg, PA.

As a Jr. Estimator, you will work closely with senior estimators and project managers to assist in the creation of accurate and competitive construction estimates. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in quantity take-off, scope analysis, subcontractor coordination, and more. Requirements

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in the review of bid documents, including blueprints, specifications, and project scope
• Perform quantity take-offs and material pricing for assigned trades
• Coordinate with subcontractors to gather and evaluate pricing information
• Assist in the preparation and submission of bid proposals
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of estimating processes and practices
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely estimating

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with some relevant coursework or experience in construction or related fields
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction specifications
• Strong analytical and math skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software is a plus
