What You’ll Be Doing:

• Define and develop the key performance indicators to achieve the security requirements of the Hardware platforms, software functions and their integration.
• Lead and drive the security related technical product requirements of the reference charger designs, Integrated Circuits and Software Products & Services (including HaaS & Saas).
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of the security design and the quality of products and their reliability.
• Collaborate with product marketing, R&D, HW engineering group, SW engineering group, Integration & Test, and Operations Group, among others.
• Analyze and resolve cross-functional security issues, respond to queries, provide product training, and ensure completion within available timeframes.
• Analyze customer issues and support customer meetings and discussions as needed.
• Design innovative security system concepts, create documentation and collateral required for the product design and customer deployment.
• Provide leadership and hands-on help to the teams in regular investigations and debugs as needed.
• Train and mentor engineers and technicians regarding product design, innovations, debug, deployment, and testing.
• Work with industry bodies with respect to security standards and deploy processes to certify Iontra’s products through security certifications as needed.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential security risks and vulnerabilities of Iontra’s products & services.
• Conduct security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and industry best practices.

Requirements

You’ll Need These Qualifications:

• BS/MS/Ph.D in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Applied Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven work experience as a technical leader & engineer in software/hardware security.
• Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in design and development of embedded systems.
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in security architecture, hardware, software applications or leading security systems architecture of an embedded systems product.
• Experience with Public Key Cryptography, hashing algorithms, Elliptical key cryptography or similar cryptography schemes is a must.
• Detailed technical knowledge of techniques, standards and state-of-the art capabilities for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, security vulnerabilities and remediation.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, best practices, and industry standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and other security standards.
• Familiarity with security-related regulations and standards like NIST and FIPS is a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
• Prior experience working in a start-up environment is desirable.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence is a plus – willingness to adopt Iontra project and task management systems and processes is a must.

Salary Range: $150k - $175k: (salary is based on education, experience, skillset, and market value).
