Summary: 

 

The GoSite mobile app is currently featured as one of the top five apps in the iOS App Store under small businesses, and we are looking for a talented and passionate Mobile Engineer who will help us take it to the next level. This role will work closely with a talented team of engineers to implement and maintain the GoSite app. Our engineering team is lean but highly effective, and we are looking for someone who is a self-starter, a quick learner and is comfortable owning large projects with minimal oversight.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Be the subject matter expert on usability, functionality and implementation for all of our mobile applications.
• Collaborate with local and remote team members to design and implement new mobile features.
• Unit-test code for robustness and usability.
• Work closely with the product team to scope and define requirements.
• Support production applications with bug fixes and updates.

 

Qualifications: 

 

• BA or BS degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in mobile development.
• Must have a passion for building great UI and mastering new technologies and techniques.
• Must have solid hands-on experience in developing iOS applications using Swift, and are familiar with the standard native iOS development toolchain which includes Xcode, Instruments, UI/Unit testing, and TestFlight.
• React Native experience is a big plus.
• Understanding of object oriented programming, multithreading, MVVM, and MVC. 
• Good knowledge of frameworks (UIKit and Cocoa). Experience with Combine and SwiftUI is a plus.
• Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms. 
• Experience with interfacing with remote APIs via REST. Experience with GraphQL is a plus. 
• Excellent communication skills: demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with an open-mind and strong collaboration skills.
• Experience with Scrum, Agile and iterative approaches is a plus.
• Understanding using services in AWS such as S3, API Gateway and Lambda is a plus.
• Contribution to open source projects and/or additional projects is a plus.
