Position Overview
DCG is seeking a capable and ambitious Operations Assistant to provide part-time support across the company's operations and to senior-level executives. Supporting a matrixed and primarily remote workforce, the Operations Assistant will be flexible in handling various administrative and operational tasks that enable company leaders to focus on strategic objectives and critical business functions. This individual must bring confidence, strong organizational skills, and keen attention to detail to execute a wide range of responsibilities efficiently. They should also be proactive, adaptable, and able to maintain discretion when handling sensitive information.
Note: The expected level of effort for this role is less than 40 hours per week. Compensation will be hourly and thus ineligible for DCG's full benefits package.
Location
Fully Remote; the selected candidate will work during DCG’s core Eastern Daylight Time business hours.
Responsibilities
- Make domestic and international travel arrangements for staff, including flights, hotels, and transportation
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate appointments for senior executives
- Assist with document management, including filing, organizing, and maintaining records
- Provide logistical support for conferences, including attendee registration and material preparation
- Support ad-hoc purchases, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies
- Communicate with vendors to optimize company IT and software license usage
- Assist in contract and invoice tracking for vendors and service providers
- Maintain and track company equipment inventory, ensuring accurate records of assignments
- Coordinate shipping and receiving of company equipment and supplies
- Assist in tracking compliance requirements, licensing renewals, and documentation
- Provide market research for company events and associated logistics
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from various state and local government entities
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1+ years of experience in an administrative, operations, or executive assistant role
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- High level of confidentiality, discretion, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with a remote team
- Prior experience supporting executives or leadership teams
