Pay Range

$34.90 - $52.35

Atrium Health High Point Medical Center is seeking full-time New Grad RNs for our Labor & Delivery unit at High Point Medical Center, located in High Point, North Carolina. A New Graduate Nurse is either a current nursing student nearing graduation from an RN program or a recent graduate with less than six months of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse. 

Position Highlights 

  • Shift Schedule:  Full time, Days, 7am – 7:00pm 

  • Department:  Labor and Delivery

  • Location:  Atrium Health- High Point Medical Center

  • New Graduate Program: New Graduate RNs at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist receive supportive training led by dedicated nurse educators, including clinical orientation, specialty-specific learning, and skill-building in clinical decision-making, teamwork, communication, and career development.

Job Summary

The New Graduate Nurse provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). They lead and direct other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with nursing standards of care and practice.   

What You’ll Need 

  • Less than 6 months of RN experience  

  • Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred. 

  • Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing 

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required  

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines  

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines
