Join us.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>AECOM Spain <strong>MEP team</strong> is a highly qualified group of professionals, experts in offering the best solutions to international client’s needs all around the world.</p><p>Our building services engineers are at the forefront of their discipline for the design of the mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) systems required for the safe, comfortable and environmentally friendly operation of buildings. We embrace world class methodologies and technologies, including information rich Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to facilitate more efficient ways of working and design at all stages of the project life-cycle.</p><p>Our team, as part of the continued growth of our business, is looking for an <strong>experienced HVAC Engineer</strong> who is looking to further develop his/her experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects. These projects span a diverse range of construction sectors including among others, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Leisure, Aviation, Commercial and Defense.</p><p>Working within a dynamic, highly motivated and driven team, you will be part of our project delivery and your contribution will be key to mentoring junior colleagues and managing moderate to large scale projects. </p><p>As a Senior HVAC Engineer, you will be expected to:</p><ul><li>Support the design and engineering of building heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, as well as, energy conservation and sustainability.</li><li>Perform studies to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of design alternatives, and recommend alternatives for implementation.</li><li>Create designs and prepare calculations for a wide variety of projects.</li><li>Develop technical specifications, plans, elevations, section and details.</li><li>Providing guidance and technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards / practices.</li><li>Perform condition assessments, site visits, and construction inspections as needed.</li><li>Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed.</li><li>Engaging regularly with the Client and different stakeholders to build and maintain positive collaborative relationships.</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul></ul><ul><li>BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar field will be essential.</li><li>Strong background, minimum 10 years of related HVAC / Mechanical Engineering experience.</li><li>Good knowledge in international regulations and standards (NFPA, BS, IEC,CIBSE, AHSRAE, etc).</li><li>Proficiency in engineering calculation software such as <strong>IES</strong>, HAP, Cype, Lider, Calener.</li><li><strong>Fluent in English </strong>(oral and written).
