We're looking for a full stack Senior Software Engineer to lead development of our platforms using Java, SQL-Server/Oracle, ReactJS, Spring, web services and UI frameworks. Here's what you'll be doing:
- Participate in architecture, design & development of various software components of our large technical platform providing efficient, secure, and reliable services to large financial institutions.
- Play an active role in an agile team responsible for all phases of software development process from technical design and delivery estimates to implementation, testing, defect management and support.
- Design, develop, and release highly scalable distributed applications, processes and services that manipulate large datasets in seconds.
- Design, & develop rich user interfaces to support complex business workflows.
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 – 10 years of current software development experience with large, complex systems.
- 5-10 years of progressive industry experience with Java.
- 3+ years of real industry experience in developing REST APIs using CXF or Spring.
- 3+ years of experience building rich user interfaces using ReactJS, AngularJS, or JSF.
- 2+ years of experience working with Linux.
- 2+ years of experience with MS SQL Server or Oracle.
- Proficient in using popular design patterns and Java frameworks.
- Proficient in object-oriented programming.
- Great analytical, reasoning, debugging, and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of HTML 5, CSS 3, and SAML2.
And for bonus points:
- Experience with macro services architecture and API managers
- Experience with Eclipse, Visual Studio Code IDEs
- Experience with SVN/ GitHub and MAVEN/ Gradle.
- Experience with Jenkins/ Hudson build tools.
- Experience with Tomcat.
- Experience with JSF/ JSPs.
- Familiarity with OAuth, OWASP standards
- Familiarity with Automated testing and source code analysis tools
- Familiarity with Splunk/ Gray log tools
This role is based in Rockville, MD.
- The Rockville office located is one mile from the Shady Grove Red Line metro station, with free shuttle service between the metro and office.
Base salary: The Rockville, MD expected base pay range is $115,000- $145,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and level of education.
The role is bonus or sales incentive eligible.
