Medical Director 

Southern California

Position Details:

• 1099/Independent Contractor arrangement.
• Provide guidance, supervision, program development, and yearly review of medical policies and procedures.
• Medical Staff and Executive Team committee and meeting participation.
• Leadership and oversight of the Medical Staff, clinical services and operations, and development of new or expanded services.
• Assisting in community relations and community education.
• Consultation on complex cases, by phone/zoom, chart audit/reviews, and advisement on detox protocols.

Requirements:

• An Active California Physician license, in good standing.
• Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Addiction Medicine or Emergency Medicine education training program is required.
• The ability to prescribe controlled substances and a current DEA license in California is required.
• Prior experience with addiction, dual-diagnosis, integrated care model, and/or psychiatry is preferred.
