The Surgery- Histo & Immuno department has an exciting opportunity for a Research Analyst- Temp position. The incumbent prepares data, conducts statistical analysis, and summarizes results for a variety of research projects.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
Analyzes data and interprets research findings.
Identifies appropriate data sources to conduct and execute analyses.
Verifies accuracy and internal consistency of reports, including required state and federal reports.
Ensures proper technical documentation and preparation of tabular and written reports and gives oral presentations.
Completes surveys and reports, discipline-specific accreditation, and admission and grant proposals.
Provides feedback and assistance on honing conclusions and recommendations into actionable findings.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Department Specific Functions
Help build the Education Research infrastructure at department of surgery. Design research studies for surgical residency assessment program. Support Education Research steering committee in building education assessment protocols for PGY3 residents. Serve as lead overseeing all projects and will manage current research associates. Will participate in writing abstracts, manuscripts, and book chapters. He will be responsible for meeting all the requirements and deadlines for all presentations, Manuscripts, Journal entries etc... This person will be keeping incoming data up to date on all surgical procedures. Will be responsible for current open research investigations and will support the providers on their mission to serve as PI’s. Will contribute to the research of surgical outcomes by analyzing data and interpreting findings. Will Initiate, monitor, and supervise all active projects. Will verify the accuracy and consistency of all reports prior to submission. Experience on journal peer-reviews, presentations, manuscripts, and book chapters.
Department Specific Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or relevant field
Basic healthcare education experience is preferred
