• Rooted in Homewood’s ironworking heritage, Ironwood blends open-flame cooking, seasonally driven Southern fare, and polished hospitality. The space pairs coal-and-copper tones with warm wood and soft lighting to create an industrial-chic dining room that feels both neighborhood-casual and hotel-refined. Situated inside the Valley Hotel Homewood (Curio Collection by Hilton), Ironwood serves locals and travelers from breakfast and brunch through dinner, plus a robust craft-cocktail program.

THE ROLE

Join our team as the General Manager of our popular Ironwood Restaurant at The Valley Hotel!

The General Manager is the strategic and cultural steward of Ironwood. You will lead all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, shape financial performance, champion an inclusive team culture, and deliver consistently memorable guest experiences that honor Ironwood’s “forged by fire” narrative.

• As General Manager you are the heartbeat of Ironwood Kitchen & Cocktails, translating the heat of our wood-fired grill into the pulse of the entire operation.

• You’ll command both the dining room and the expo line, ensuring every plate, cocktail, and greeting reflects our “forged by fire” ethos.

• Your leadership will inspire the team to deliver warm, genuine hospitality while smashing sales and profitability targets.

• You’ll own the P&L, analyze trends, and engineer promotions that keep locals, hotel guests, and crowds coming back.

• Collaboration is key—you’ll partner with Valley Hotel leaders to weave seamless room-service, catering, and event experiences.

• Community engagement will be your playground, positioning Ironwood as Homewood’s must-visit social hearth.

• Above all, you’ll transform everyday service into memorable stories that guests relive long after the last cocktail has been poured.
