Staff Software Engineer

Supernova is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our fast-growing fintech company and help revolutionize securities based lending. You'll be working on cutting-edge technology to build innovative solutions for real-world financial problems. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Obtain deep understanding of business needs, design and build technical solutions that address complex business requirements
• Hands-on software development with various web-based services
• Manage the full cycle of project from initial design to implementation to launch, identifying pitfalls and coaching colleagues along the way
• Understand and Manage internal batch job pipelines
• Provide diagnosing and technical support for production issues when needed by the support team

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA / BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, Python, and JavaScript
• 1+ years of hands-on experience on Java Spring Boot
• Experience of composing and managing batch job pipelines is plus
• Experience with core banking system / accounting system / payment system is a plus
• Ability to handle high priority projects or customer requests in a timeline fashion
• Ability to adapt to the dynamic and changing nature of a startup company and developer roles
• Ability to communicate well with all stakeholders and customers about technical systems and solutions
• Ability to thrive with ambiguity within a rapidly changing business environment
