About the Role:
A Senior Program Manager Suspicious Activity Reporting would assist in the oversight of the Unusual/Suspicious Activity Reporting Program within the 1st line of defense. The role would assist with maintaining the compliance policy and procedures and align controls to the 1st line of defense. This role will be responsible Oversight of the SAR reporting program within the 1st line by providing full oversight and approval for staffing, metrics, QA and overall health of the program. This position will report to the Global Head of FIU within Compliance.
You Will:
- Development and maintenance of the SAR policy and supporting compliance procedures
- Reporting the health of the program to compliance senior leadership
- Oversight and approval of of 1st line hiring decisions for the SAR reporting team
- Oversight and approval of decisions regarding performance issues within the 1st line SAR reporting team
- Oversight and approval of the staffing model within the 1st line SAR reporting team
- Oversight and approval of all SAR filing and non-filing decisions worked within the 1st line
- Oversight and approval of 1st line metrics and SLAs within the SAR reporting team
- Oversight and approval of the QA teams decision matrices, hiring and staffing for the program that oversees the SAR reporting program
- Oversight and approval of the procedures within the 1st line of defense for SAR reporting and QA
- Oversight and approval for all queue assignments
- Oversight and approval of the law enforcement subpoena process
You Have:
- 8+ years of experience leading compliance programs in financial services, with subject matter expertise in anti-money laundering (AML) compliance
- Ability and comfort working in white-space to create compliance frameworks and solutions
- A record of operational leadership, able to both set strategy and work with teams to design and deliver on implementation

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $120,000-$150,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
