SUMMARY  

Mortenson is currently seeking an Environmental Coordinator for our Solar Operating Group responsible for supporting Mortenson’s environmental program for project sites and promoting environmental compliance of construction activities. 

Candidates with field experience is preferred. Must be able to travel 100% with regular rotations home every 3 weeks.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Implement and administer the environmental program at each work site. 

• Support project management team in executing site specific environmental plans and activities 

• Participate in and contribute to project planning 

• Attend preconstruction and preparatory meetings with subcontractors 

• Monitor trade partner work plans and activities for environmental concerns 

• Assist with implementation of policies and procedures for compliance with all environmental regulations 

• Support environmental orientation and training programs 

• Assist with onsite best management practices for environmental management 

• Monitor implementation of environmental mitigation measures 

• Conduct work site environmental inspections 

• Monitor and record environmental data 

• Assist with incident analysis and response 

• Work with customer’s environmental personnel, environmental consultants, and regulatory representatives
