Summer Internship - Technical Writing

SG360° is a national industry-leading provider of direct marketing solutions. We have an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill our summer internship role as Technical Writer who will be responsible for Consolidating individual business process documentation into larger user manuals. 

 This is a paid internship, $17/hr.  

Responsibilities include:

• Work within Micrsoft Office products to create\edit documentation. 
• Standardize existing documentation into a common template: cover page, table of contents, headers\footers, fonts...
• Participate in product\process demos to learn business functions requiring new documentation or updating of existing documentation.
• Interview and\or shadow business users to learn processes for documenting.

Requirements

 Education and Requirements:  

• Students must be enrolled in a college/university and on track to graduate with a degree/certificate in Technical Communication or similar.
•  The candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office products and have familiarity with technical writing related to business processes. 
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
