Marketing and Communications Intern

TechFlow, Inc. is looking for a motivated Marketing and Communications Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will be given the opportunity to work directly with our marketing and communications department and assist in the execution of our overall marketing and communications strategy. Your responsibilities will include researching and analyzing market trends, creating content for various communication channels, and supporting the team in hosting events and conferences. As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you will be part of a team that is focused on providing innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on market trends and key industry players
  
• Develop content for various communication channels, including social media, blog posts, and press releases
• Support the team in planning and executing events and conferences
• Assist in the development of marketing and communication strategies
• Collaborate with other teams across the organization to ensure consistency in messaging
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts
• Support the team in other marketing and communication-related projects as needed
• Assist in analyzing social media performance data and formulating strategies for improvement based on conclusions drawn from the data
• Ensure the company website is up to date with contract awards, company news, capabilities, and current events
• Increase TechFlow’s social media reach through both organic and paid campaigns
• Utilize rich media to build our social media footprint and reputation
• Work with TechFlow leadership to create a monthly social media calendar
• Create compelling graphics to be used in social media posts

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed
• In-depth understanding of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube
• Working knowledge of graphic design software such as Canva or Adobe Illustrator
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity of social media management platforms
• Experience working in a government contracting environment
