Pay Range
$16.80 - $25.20Major Responsibilities
- Adheres to department policies and procedures for helping the department reach its financial, service, and programmatic goals.
- Conducts tours of facility. Provides membership information in person or via telephone conversation.
- Greets customers and members upon entering and exiting the facility, acknowledging customers/visitors upon stepping to the front desk and extending warm and friendly greetings.
- Offers tours to visitors and provide accurate and correct information regarding prices, programs, and services.
- Handles reservations and information requests in a timely manner. Schedules appointments for enrollment and orientation. Completes necessary forms, including membership agreements, HHQ and consent form with payment authorization forms.
- Assists in the security, opening and closing of the facility, including lights, equipment, etc
- Helps to ensure department safety standards relating to signing in members and guests appropriately.
- Enters new members into member accounting system daily and updates members' files into computer to help retain current membership.
- Prepares renewal letters and worksheets and handles membership extensions. Prepares letters and adds time accurately and prepares for signature.
- Handles accurate cash register transactions. Balances cash register drawer during shift Secures assets upon closing.
- Maintains cash register and makes cash register deposits and receives money and writes receipts for any monetary transactions.
- Sales Inventory Assists members and guests in selection and purchase of Pro Shop items Assists in maintenance and inventory of Pro Shop
Minimum Job Requirements
Education
Completion of High School or GED
Work Experience
One-year general office experience, with emphasis on computer application, monthly billing and reporting and public relations.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Three months on the job training required to learn specific job skills. Must have computer knowledge and skills, excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to think analytically and have problem solving abilities and strive for exceptional customer service. Must attend general hospital mandatory training and department specific training annually. Works in hospital, clinical and/or assistive living, office indoor environments. Must be able to remain calm under emergency situations. Must be able to utilize appropriate universal and specific precautions for protection from potential exposure infectious or communicable diseases. Tolerate high noise, busy atmospheres, and noxious odors.
