Product Managers at Klaviyo are passionate about building products that delight customers and solve meaningful problems. Our ability to deeply understand customer needs and deliver products with strong product-market fit has been a major driver of Klaviyo’s success and rapid growth. Please note that this role is located in Boston and requires 3 days/week onsite in our office. Fully remote candidates will not be considered at this time.

About the Role:

We’re now looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of Klaviyo’s API platform—an essential pillar that empowers developers, partners, and technical users to build and integrate seamlessly with Klaviyo. As a Senior PM on the API team, you’ll play a central role in shaping the future of Klaviyo’s developer experience. You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams to build powerful, reliable, and developer-friendly APIs. Your work will directly impact how Klaviyo customers and partners access, manipulate, and activate customer data.

How You’ll Make a Difference:

  • Drive business outcomes by defining and delivering high-impact API capabilities that expand Klaviyo’s reach and deepen integration opportunities.
  • Own the roadmap for APIs across core domains—prioritizing based on impact, technical feasibility, and customer needs.
  • Serve technical users by developing a strong point of view on the needs of developers, partners, and power users working with customer data at scale.
  • Partner across the organization, working with other product teams to ensure our APIs are extensible, secure, and built with long-term scalability in mind.
  • Communicate clearly and frequently, both in writing and in meetings, to align stakeholders and drive clarity on direction and priorities.
  • Act as the voice of the developer, spending time with customers and partners to understand how they use Klaviyo’s APIs—and where we can do better.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage a product roadmap for Klaviyo’s APIs—balancing new feature development, platform investments, and technical debt.
  • Write clear, comprehensive specs that break down complex problems into detailed use cases, anticipate edge cases, and ensure a seamless developer experience.
  • Work closely with engineering and design to iterate on API design and documentation, ensuring high usability and consistency.
  • Ship features that deliver tangible value to customers and partners while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
  • Continuously learn about emerging API standards, developer expectations, and partner needs to keep Klaviyo’s APIs modern and competitive.

Who You Are:

  • You have 6+ years of experience in product management, ideally working on APIs, developer platforms, or data-focused products.
  • You have strong technical intuition and are comfortable collaborating with engineers and understanding architectural trade-offs.
  • You’re a rigorous thinker who enjoys breaking down complex problems and designing elegant, scalable solutions.
  • You are customer-obsessed, especially about serving developers and technical users.
  • You are an excellent communicator, particularly in writing, and can drive alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and are motivated by solving hard problems with smart, collaborative teams.
