Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing, a global aerospace leader, is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager – Boeing Global Engagement to spearhead its national strategic partnerships. This position will be located in Arlington, VA.

As the Senior Manager for National Strategic Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Boeing's external relations goals, enhancing its corporate citizenship, and fostering impactful collaborations with key stakeholders. This leadership position demands strong analytical skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, and effective communication abilities.

Position Responsibilities:

Leadership in Strategic Partnerships:

  • Lead and manage existing national strategic partnerships predominantly situated in the national capital region (NCR) by maintaining regular communication with respective nonprofit teams. Evaluate new engagement opportunities and optimize existing benefits
  • Identify novel strategic partnership prospects with national significance to bolster Boeing's corporate citizenship initiatives

Collaboration and Engagement:

  • Cultivate cross-partner collaborations to achieve significant community outcomes, facilitate storytelling, enhance stakeholder engagement, and promote employee volunteerism
  • Integrate policy and charitable priorities to advocate for Boeing's objectives, aligning with Government Operations' leadership and local subsidiaries

Financial Management:

  • Track and oversee the budget allocated for national strategic investments, particularly multi-year investments. Collaborate with the Vice President of Boeing Global Engagement and Executive Vice President of Government Operations to manage key sponsorships, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering value for senior executive priorities

Event Coordination and Execution:

  • Collaborate with Customer Relations to organize Boeing-sponsored events. Identify opportunities to host partner events, gatherings, and engagements for employees, stakeholders, and the wider community

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience working with non-profit organizations and/or developing community engagement, preferably with special event experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in formal and/or informal capacities
  • Experience building stakeholder and customer relationships

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in government, campaigns, public affairs, issue advocacy, policy, or grassroots advocacy
  • Experience with philanthropic leadership and fundraising
  • Experience multi-tasking and working in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
