This Finance role is responsible for leading the forecasting, budgeting, and reporting process for North American Sales and Service including the retail operations of the Lucid Studios and Service Centers.This role is focused on planning and reporting for revenue, headcount, OpEx, and CapEx for all retail locations.
This position will also work with cross-functional teams to ensure that OpEx and CapEx spend are managed efficiently and at budget.The role manages multiple reports.
The main responsibilities fall in three areas:1) FP&A: Partner with Retail and Facility Operations, Purchasing, Lease Administrator, and Real Estate to plan and forecast headcount and operating costs for all retail locations
2) Accounting: Partner with Accounts Payable, Treasury, Accounting, Internal Control, and Tax to ensure the purchase-to-pay process (incl. lease obligations) is smooth with the transactional data recorded accurately and timely, and audit and tax compliant
3) Systems: Ensure all systems are aligned with the P2P process and forecasting for all retail operations. This includes ERP (SAP S4/Hana), Visual Lease, Purchasing, Vendor Invoice Management, and Anaplan

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the monthly and quarterly reporting of forecasts and budgets for the retail operations of Sales and Service including revenue, headcount, operating and capital expenses
- Deliver analytical insights and business cases to optimize, challenge, and influence Retail operations to support decision making for short term & long term investments
- Conduct variance analysis on actuals to budget/forecast and identify opportunities for improvements to support financial goals
- Serve as key point of contact for Retail Finance
- Offer strong guidance of the proper accounting treatment in Actuals and Forecast of current and future lease obligations under lease accounting standards (ASC 840, ASC 842, IFRS 16)
- Manage the P2P process for all retail operations spend activities
- Recognize areas to improve the effectiveness of our financial planning and forecasting activities to streamline and improve processes
- Collaborate with accounting and other finance partners to bridge actual results to plan and identify cost savings opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field – required
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) – preferred
- Financial experience at an Automotive OEM – preferred
- At least 7 years of work experience and knowledge in retail operations, retail planning, and forecasting experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to interact with various business partner relationships and management levels
- Knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles and processes, including in-depth knowledge of lease accounting (ASC 840, ASC 842, IFRS 16)
- Proven experience in budgeting, planning, forecasting, closing, and reconciling operating spend
- Proven leadership and organization skills with ability and flexibility in prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, growth environment
- Ability to effectively articulate variances and financial stories in a clear and concise manner
- Proven ability developing and improving processes, including automating reporting and forecast modeling
- Strong SAP S4/Hana, Anaplan, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required, Tableau a plus
