We are seeking a highly motivated Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to support our USAF contract on Robbins AFB, GA. This project is in support of the 402d Software Engineering Group (SWEG) at Robins Air Force Base, GA. The ISSM supports the 402d SWEG’s mission by working closely with engineers, developers, administrators and other technical teams supporting a variety of weapon system platforms and airframes such as the F-15 and F-35 fighters, the B-1B bomber, the C-5 and C-130 cargo planes, the MQ-9 Reaper and the HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter. All work will be performed on base.
Responsibilities
• Ensures all cyber personnel adhere to DoD 8570 IAT/IAM certification requirements and support personnel in obtaining necessary security certifications.
• Performs Cybersecurity activities in support of ensuring compliance with the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) and Clinger-Cohen Act (CCA).
• Leads and communicates with the ISSO, Program/Project Manager (PM), and other stakeholders to perform Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities to obtain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Ensures the integration of Cybersecurity into and throughout the lifecycle of the IT
• Ensures all AF IT Cybersecurity-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals
• Completes and maintains required Cybersecurity certification IAW AFMAN 17-1305.
• Develop, modify, and manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation packages, including Xacta, Capture the Flag (CtF), Interim Authority to Operate (IATT), and Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation.
• Provides expert-level guidance on Cybersecurity best practices and compliance to junior security staff and stakeholders.
• Oversees continuous monitoring activities utilizing Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and other security tools for cloud.
• Conducts security assessments and vulnerability management to ensure compliance with ICD 503 and NIST security frameworks
Requirements
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI Eligibility
• Experience required is based on education level:
◦ Bachelor’s degree or higher with 5 years of Information System Security Manager (ISSM) experience
◦ No degree with 8 years of Information System Security Manager (ISSM) experience
• Experience must contain the following to be relevant:
◦ Experience with the generation, modification, and monitoring of Xacta, RMF, IATT, and ATO packages
◦ Experience in continuous monitoring leveraging ACAS and addressing system security requirements for cloud, on premise, and hybrid environments
◦ Knowledge of ICD 503 and NIST publications
Certification Requirements:
• Required to have one of the DoD 8140 certifications
Schedule
• Facilities are open 6am-6pm - you can work with your customer leadership to set hours
• You can flex time during the 2 week pay cycle - avoid using PTO for appointments
• A compressed work schedule may be available at the discretion of work center leadership (i.e. 4/10 or 9/80)
