We’re already powering energy experiences across 15 countries for 10s of millions of users, and we’re now scaling the next generation of embedded energy propositions across Europe.</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>We’ve embarked on a growth journey with major enterprise clients, and this role gives you the chance to shape a completely new category in energy services and contribute to a low-carbon, intelligent energy future.</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>How you will spend your days:</span><span><br/><br/></span></p><p dir="ltr"><span> You will join a brand-new Embedded Energy engineering team, building an entirely new product area from the ground up. Nothing here is “already defined” – you will be part of establishing the architecture, shaping technical direction, and delivering the first live versions of features that will scale across multiple markets.</span><span><br/></span><span> You’ll work across frontend and backend development, collaborating closely with product managers and fellow engineers to design and deliver new features at pace. Because this area moves quickly, you should expect short feedback loops, rapid experimentation, and regular iteration.</span><span><br/></span><span> A large part of the role involves hands-on work with data and integrations: ingesting EV charging data, connecting to utility APIs, building logic that calculates rebates, and developing resilient services that work in fragmented energy markets.</span><span><br/></span><span> Our backend uses a microservices architecture hosted in Microsoft Azure and primarily written in C#. On the frontend, we currently use Angular.</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>Who we think you are:</span></p><ul><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><span>You lean toward backend development, especially within the .NET ecosystem, but you’re comfortable contributing to the frontend when needed. </span></p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><span>You naturally think in terms of features, systems, and data flows rather than strict role boundaries.</span></p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><span>You work well in environments where not everything is defined yet. </span></p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><span>You like building things from the ground up, making decisions, taking ownership, and keeping things moving in a collaborative environment. </span></p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><span>You enjoy digging into complex problems, understanding how different systems fit together, and designing solutions that can scale across markets.</span></p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><span>You appreciate having both freedom and responsibility.
