Shift Support Staff C Shift (M-F 11pm-7am) 87-16

Description

Pay: $11.50 an hour. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in general activities of the program.
• Provide direct care and supervision to clients.
• Facilitate recreational activities, including transporting clients as appropriate.
• Help ensure a safe living environment for all clients.
• Assist with management of unstructured time.
• Help enforce program guidelines, including keeping all clients on a predetermined schedule provided by management and/or their therapist.
• Notify management and secure appropriate medical treatment in cases of emergency.
• Keep records as assigned, such as behavior reports.
• Supervise and assist clients with daily living skills as needed, such as, but not limited to cooking, laundry, and chores.
• Perform monthly fire drills.
• Screen and monitor all visitors to the facility.
• Answer phone calls when needed and route those calls to the appropriate individual. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to relate positively to Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation clients and their families.
• Valid Mississippi driver’s license, personal auto liability insurance, and insurable driving record (if required - discretionary)
• Complete and maintain all required training from the agency and regulatory outside agencies.
• Acceptable criminal background check.
