Providence is calling an Administrative Fellow who will:

  • Work with key administrative personnel in order to gain exposure to the management of Providence Clinical Network as well as within the broader healthcare landscape
  • Be assigned to select projects related to business and operations
  • Assess potential projects and collectively select which ones they will work on, keeping in mind both their interests and the needs of the organization
  • Gather, analyze and interpret information related to the synthesis of recommendations
  • Report and present development, delivery and process improvements
  • Have the opportunity to formally meet and hear from some of the senior leaders and sit in on executive management meetings while tackling various inter-departmental projects
  • Work closely with the Management Team
  • Use discretion and independent judgment, as necessary, in assessing situations, consider alternatives and determine appropriate courses of action
  • Gain insight into the inner-workings and how work is realized in the surrounding community
  • Be able to travel to meet with prospective programs, physicians, and other stakeholders face-to-face

This posting is for multiple openings of an Administrative Fellow and is a Hybrid role that will work a combination of in office and work from home week over week. Providence welcomes residents to apply that live within a daily commutable distance of our office location listed below:

California: Irvine 

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree in Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Management, Public Health, Public Policy or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Exposure to designing, managing and effectively leading organizational change initiatives
  • Exposure to data collection, analysis, and providing written reports, proposals incorporating findings

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA) or Pharmacy Technician Certification
