Accounting Intern (Colombia)

About the role

Are you in the final semesters of your Accounting degree, or are you looking for a place to complete your internship? 

As our Accounting Intern, you will support the Finance team in maintaining and optimizing our company’s financial processes. You will gain hands-on experience in accounting activities such as accounts payable, credit card reconciliations, payroll support, and general financial reporting.
You’ll be part of a diverse and international Finance team, working closely with colleagues and management to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with internal procedures and legal requirements. This internship is a great opportunity to learn how financial processes function within a fast-paced, international company.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with credit card imports and reconciliations.

• Help in processing payments to suppliers, tax authorities, and employees.

• Process and book supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and correct cost allocation.

• Assist in processing intercompany invoices and tracking general ledger adjustments.

• Collaborate with HR to collect payroll-related information and support payroll preparation.

• Contribute to month-end closing activities, including adjustments, accruals, and provisions.

• Work closely with the Finance Team and VP of Finance.

Requirements

What you bring to the team

• If you are currently studying a bachelor’s degree or a technical/technological program in Accounting or Public Accounting, or you are a recent graduate and want to gain experience with an international company, this is your opportunity!

• You have a strong interest in Accounting operations especially accounts payable and payroll processes and are curious about automation and process improvement.

• You’re tech-savvy and eager to learn new tools, platforms, and systems.

• You bring strong attention to detail, a problem-solving mindset, and a willingness to take ownership of your tasks.

• You’re proactive — you ask questions, seek out knowledge, and share your ideas.

• You are fluent in English (B1).

• You are available for a full-time internship of 5–6 months starting in January 2026, or to start as soon as possible.

• Possibility to stay with the company after the internship to continue your career and growth, based on performance.
