As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Overnights in North Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policies. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports of incidents and security-related observations.
• Support a professional healthcare environment by communicating clearly with site personnel, following confidentiality expectations, and assisting with security-related requests.
• Candidates to occasionally lift and/or carry items that may weigh up to 20 pounds

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
