Baptist Health Floyd, 2C Neuro Progressive Care Unit

Part-time (24 Hours Weekly), Days (7am-7pm)

Job Duties:

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant who under general supervision and according to established procedures functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.

About the Unit:

The Neuro Unit is a 15-bed unit which specializes in neuroscience nursing for intermediate level adult patients with acute primary neurological diagnoses excellent ratios (3-4:1) with 24/7 leadership on the unit including a stoke coordinator. Common neuroscience cases include ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, TIAs, seizure/epilepsy, degenerative disorders, autoimmune disorders, and central nervous system disorders. As a certified Primary Stroke Center, 2C Neuro has been recognized as a state-of-the-art stroke care center. 

Qualifications: 

BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
