The Department
The Psychology Department is one of the largest majors at Sonoma State University. The curriculum includes five breadth areas (Holistic, Clinical, Developmental, Social, and Physiological), core required classes, and electives. The department seeks to develop skills in psychological knowledge, applications, research methods, behavioral change processes, self-reflection, and diversity appreciation. We draw from our temporary part-time hiring pool to fill curricular needs in the major.

Duties of the Position
The Department of Psychology anticipates hiring temporary part-time lecturers to teach courses in one or more of the following areas, as well as courses in the applicant’s areas of expertise:

- Breadth: Developmental (Life Span Development; Social & Emotional Development; Child Development; Adolescent Development; Infant Development; Psychology of Family; Cognitive Development)
