Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $130,000.00 - $200,000.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.What you will be doing
The Director, HR Business Partner (HRBP) for Clinical Operations serves as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, aligning people strategies with business goals across clinical operations - including patient care and nursing, supply chain, rehabilitation, radiology and imaging, service lines, access and patient experience, and facilities.
As a single-incumbent role, the Director operates in a high-volume environment, partnering closely with leaders in the largest segment of the organization. The role leads efforts in talent planning, organizational design, workforce strategy, and talent acquisition, acting as a trusted consultant to build high-performing teams, develop future-ready clinical and operational talent, and foster an inclusive engaging workplace culture.
The Director must bring strong HR system fluency and advanced Workday capability – able to independently navigate and leverage the platform without reliance on others. A proactive, self-starter mindset is essential, with the ability to anticipate needs, apply data-driven insights, and deliver results in a fast-paced, complex healthcare environment.
The ideal candidate has experience supporting clinical operations leaders and roles and thrives in a volume-oriented HRBP capacity, with the judgment, adaptability, and influence to address the unique workforce challenges of clinical and operational functions.
Position Accountabilities/Competencies include:
Strategic Partnership
- Partner with senior clinical operations leaders to translate business strategies into targeted workforce and talent plans.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to executives on leadership, culture, and people-related decisions – tailored to the demands of clinical teams and operational functions.
- Leverage Workday insights, applications, and reporting to inform strategy and strengthen decision-making.
Talent Planning & Workforce Strategy
- Support talent reviews, workforce planning, and succession processes to ensure a strong, diverse pipeline of clinical and operational talent.
- Monitor and anticipate workforce trends across patient care, nursing, and other clinical functions to ensure readiness and resilience.
- Partner with leaders on organizational design, team effectiveness, and clinical or technical capability building.
- Use workforce analytics, labor market insights, and Workday data to guide decisions on staffing models, headcount, and skill requirements.
Talent Acquisition & Development
- Partner with business leaders and the Talent Acquisition team to attract, hire, and onboard top talent – focusing on clinical and operational roles.
- Collaborate with leaders to identify clinical or technical skill gaps and drive development initiatives.
- Support leadership in identifying, developing, and retaining high-potential clinical talent, leveraging Workday modules to track and measure outcomes.
