Senior Director, FP&A

About the Role 

As the Senior Director of FP&A, you will oversee our corporate financial planning and analysis function, guiding our financial strategy and providing valuable insights to our executive team to achieve both short- and long-term financial goals. In this role, you'll lead a high-performing team, responsible for delivering strategic financial insights, forecasts, and analysis to guide executive decision-making. Leveraging your extensive FP&A experience, you'll enhance operational efficiency, transform complex data into actionable insights, and optimize resource allocation. The Senior Director of FP&A is pivotal in shaping our organization's financial direction, requiring a strategic thinker with exceptional financial acumen, leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving financial performance. This role holds a key position within the Finance Team, serving as a vital business partner across all aspects of our organization. 

 What You’ll Do 

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's FP&A strategies, processes, and tools.  
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership by producing accurate, timely, and insightful financial analyses, forecasts, and models.  
• Oversee the annual budgeting and long-term financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. 
• Partner with functional leaders to analyze business performance, identify trends, and recommend actionable strategies for improving financial outcomes.  
• Drive the creation of detailed financial models, scenarios, and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.  
• Develop and present clear and concise financial presentations to communicate complex concepts to non-financial stakeholders.  
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and innovation.  
• Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to uncover insights and drive informed decision-making.  

What We’re Looking For 

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis. 
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role.  
• Demonstrated record of accomplishment in leading and developing high-performing FP&A teams.  
• Knowledge of Adaptive or similar FP&A software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.  
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to contribute to overall company growth and success.  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.  
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders. 
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. 
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. 
• CPA or CFA certification is a plus, but not required.
• Experience in the consumer tech industry is highly preferred.    
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Public company experience is a plus.
