Maintenance Operations Manager - Austin District

The Maintenance Operations Manager provides leadership and oversight for key district maintenance programs, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and pavement preservation . This position is responsible for managing roadway material budgets, maintenance contracts, and the procurement and distribution of materials that support district-wide maintenance activities. The role leads roadway data collection and analysis efforts to support pavement management, asset preservation, and informed decision-making. Additionally, the position collaborates with District Maintenance, Area Offices, and Maintenance Sections to develop and manage both one-year and four-year maintenance plans, aligning resources, priorities, and investment strategies to support the long-term performance and reliability of the transportation system.
