We, Business Unit (BU) Specialized, belong to the Tube Division within Alleima Group, and we are a world leading producer and supplier of specialized tubular products in growing key market segments such as Aerospace, Medical and Hydrogen. We are now looking for General Accountant for our very promising site of Alleima Precision Tube, based at Scottdale PA, USA.

We are a plant specialized in producing high precision stainless and nickel alloy tube products to various high demanding industries including aerospace, transportation, nuclear and petrochemical. 

Your Role

The Accounts Receivable/Payable and General Accountant role is responsible for efficiently handling all activities related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting functions. This includes ensuring accurate processing, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions in line with company policies, local legislation, and Alleima’s standards. The role supports business operations by maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, supporting audits, preventing fraud, and providing excellent internal and external service. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

What we expect from you is: 
• Implement and support the development of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general accounting policies, procedures, and rules.
• Prepare, record, verify, analyze, and report accounts payable/receivable transactions and general ledger entries.
 Manage vendor invoices, process customer payments, and ensure timely and accurate posting of all financial transactions.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable/receivable ledgers, bank accounts, and general ledger balances.
• Prepare month-end and year-end closing entries, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other financial summaries.
• Prepare analyses and reconciliations of bill runs to identify errors and detect potential fraud.
• Ensure compliance with transaction entry verification, approval procedures, and internal controls.
• Support internal and external stakeholders by responding to billing, payment, and accounting queries while resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate approval roles and limits within the accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Assist with managing escalated invoice mismatches and provide resolution support.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing requested documentation and reconciliations.
• Monitor and report on cash flow, accruals, and account variances.
• Support tax filings, budgeting, and forecasting activities as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the accounting and finance functions.

• High School Diploma or equivalent diploma 
• Holds an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Has 3–5 years of previous experience in general accounting, accounts payable, and/or accounts receivable.
• Is proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP/accounting software (experience with SAP or similar systems is a plus).
• Must be self-driven, organized, and be able to work in a fast-paced team environment. 
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Has proven experience in general accounting, accounts payable, and/or accounts receivable.
•  Demonstrates strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Communicates effectively and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Understands financial compliance, controls, and reporting requirements.
• Thrives on problem-solving and process improvement.
