About the role

OVERVIEW

Releady is partnering with a healthcare technology company to hire a Principal Technical Program Manager for their Commercialization & AI organization. Our client provides a modern technology platform built for nonprofit and regional health plans — enabling them to automate operations, reduce administrative costs, and deliver more personalized member experiences through AI. Backed by a large, established nonprofit health system, the company is actively expanding its partner base and scaling fast.

This is a high-impact role at the center of that growth. The Principal TPM is the operational engine for the Commercialization & AI org — driving execution across AI product programs and data workstreams within the commercial stack, coordinating go-to-market delivery, and ensuring that capabilities move from concept to customer with speed and rigor. The role operates in an agile, iterative model using Linear as the primary tracking tool.

  • Pay Rate: $85 – $110/hr DOE
  • Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire
  • Location: Hybrid — 2x/week in office (San Diego, Long Beach, Sacramento, Rancho Cordova, or Oakland/SF Bay Area)

*Must be eligible to work on W2 without sponsorship. Not eligible for C2C.

  RESPONSIBILITIES

AI & Data Product Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end program management for AI and ML product initiatives within the commercial stack, including AI voice agents, prior authorization automation, member engagement intelligence, and proactive outreach capabilities
  • Own delivery timelines and milestone tracking in Linear — maintaining clean sprint hygiene, surfacing blockers in real time, and ensuring cross-functional dependencies across data, engineering, and product are sequenced and resolved
  • Drive program-level coordination across data product workstreams — tracking delivery of data pipeline builds, dataset readiness, and data quality milestones that underpin AI and commercial platform capabilities
  • Partner with data science, engineering, and product to structure AI model development cycles, evaluation frameworks, and responsible AI governance checkpoints
  • Drive readiness reviews before each AI capability launch, including technical validation, data quality verification, integration testing, and health plan partner enablement
  • Build and maintain program dashboards connecting sprint-level execution to product and data KPIs such as CSAT, containment rate, prior auth cycle time, data freshness, and administrative cost reduction

Commercialization & Go-to-Market Execution

  • Translate the commercialization roadmap into structured, resourced programs with clear owners, milestones, and risk registers
  • Coordinate go-to-market sequencing across Product, Technology, Market Strategy, Legal, and Partner Development to ensure new health plan onboarding is operationally smooth and repeatable
  • Lead program workstreams for new partner plan integrations — from technical onboarding and data platform enablement to first-use milestones
  • Manage program-level intake and prioritization of health plan partner feature and data requests within the commercial stack, surfacing tradeoffs and sequencing decisions for product and data leadership
  • Track and report on commercialization program health for senior leadership — translating complex technical and operational data into executive-ready narratives

Stakeholder Leadership & Org Enablement

  • Serve as the connective tissue between data, engineering, product, and business teams — facilitating alignment, resolving ambiguity, and keeping programs moving without requiring escalation
  • Facilitate working sessions, sprint reviews, and cross-functional planning ceremonies with both internal teams and external health plan partners
  • Identify systemic process gaps that create delivery friction and lead initiatives to improve program management and data governance infrastructure across the org
  • Partner with the VP of Commercialization & AI and other senior leaders to shape the operating model as the team scales
