Evolution Georgia is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Warehouse Supervisor.

Job Description

  • Act as a mediator (in between team and unit manager) to communicate mandatory information to and from team members;
  • Create, maintain, and communicate warehouse objectives;
  • Monitoring the performance of the Navision and Jira system for potential bottlenecks or other issues that could affect warehouse performance;
  • Set up, control and report Warehouse KPIs;
  • Cross functional cooperation with internal customers for overall companies’ operational success;
  • Work with controller team to monitor supplier performance and evaluation, stock level and inventory management;
  • Set and maintain stock level and inventory management based on forecasts and historical usage data;
  • Check, follow and ensure inventory level by communicating with procurement team;
  • Ensure warehouse members substitution of daily operations by overseeing sick leaves, vacations and responsibilities split to minimize process continuity risks;
  • Ensure warehouse inventory inbound, storage and outbound process, if necessary, perform other stock-related duties including receive, unload, shelve of goods;
  • Ensure and maintain work instruction for respective team, be able to onboard/train new team members;
  • Assign tasks to warehouse specialists and warehouse data specialists;
  • Check the book balances with the actual physical stock at frequent intervals by way of internal control over wrong issues, pilferage, etc.;
  • Assist the Accountants in finding out reason of discrepancies possibly caused by mistakes made during data input into warehouse management system;
  • Follow up standards and instructions for issuing, receiving and storing goods;
  • Replace colleagues during their vacations, sick leaves and other absences.
  • Replacement takes place during working time, and it is not considered as additional work;
  • Perform other duties, as asked by the manager, which are related to this position.

Qualifications

  • Higher education in a relevant technical or business field;
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in team management position with experience in procurement, logistics and/or warehousing field;
  • Good knowledge of both written and spoken English;
  • Developed organizational, multitasking and team-management skills;
  • Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management;
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;
  • Experience in modern procurement, purchasing processes and related systems;
  • Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment;
  • Knowledge of MS Excel and experience working with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics Nav, Axapta, SAP).
