About the role

  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling proposals for Federal Telecom projects, particularly focusing on AOC Connect initiatives.
  • Content Development: Write clear, concise, and persuasive technical content that effectively communicates our solutions, capabilities, and value propositions to government agencies.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of client requirements, industry trends, and competitor offerings to tailor proposals that address specific needs and differentiate our offerings.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all proposal content complies with solicitation requirements, evaluates technical feasibility, and meets quality standards.
  • Proposal Management: Adhere to proposal timelines, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with subject matter experts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information and insights for proposal development.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to enhance proposal strategies and content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical writing for Federal proposals, with specific experience in IT or telecommunications projects.
  • Strong understanding of Federal procurement processes, FAR regulations, and telecom industry standards.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant software tools.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear and compelling content.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to proposal development.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
