About the role

Job Description

Our Company is preparing for the potential U.S. launch of an oncology mRNA-based individualized neoantigen therapy for early stage melanoma which involves operational complexities for treatment sites and requires close coordination with cross-functional partners. To ensure site readiness and support consistent site execution, we are building a dedicated team of field-based operational roles to help educate treatment sites on the practical, logistical, and operational requirements necessary to onboard the product effectively, inform treatment sites about helpful workflows and tools related to this product , and sustain reliable end-to-end execution through steady-state operations following potential FDA approval.

The Associate Director Oncology Treatment Site Lead (TSL) is the primary field-based point of contact for operational information and support for product treatment sites. This role educates and supports sites so that they can consistently execute the end-to-end product operational journey—from onboarding and readiness through ordering workflow execution and steady-state operations. TSLs will help support sites by educating them about necessary processes, answering questions about operational issues, and supporting a reliable, seamless experience across the treatment journey. The TSL is focused on operational and process support, and not clinical treatment information.

This role requires strong knowledge of treatment-site operations, the ability to navigate complex cross-functional workflows, and the ability to align internal and external stakeholders to support reliable end-to-end site execution as well as timely issue resolution.

This is a field-based, customer-facing, non–demand generating and non-promotional role. The Associate Director Oncology Treatment Site Lead (TSL) role will have responsibility for accounts in the Midwest geography, which includes, IN, KY and MI. The candidate must reside in the designated geographic territory.

Primary Activities & Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

  • Lead the onboarding and readiness support process for product treatment sites, ensuring treatment sites are educated on the workflow, system setup, and operational requirements

  • Deliver process-focused education for site stakeholders using approved resources to support initial site implementation and ongoing operational support

  • Help ensure treatment sites have the operational capabilities and knowledge required for consistent execution of the product's end-to-end treatment journey

  • Serve as the product operational subject matter expert for your assigned treatment sites and provide support regarding the product process, operations, and logistics.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for operational issues, triaging and appropriately addressing issues through cross‑functional coordination and defined processes

  • Appropriately collaborate with cross-functional oncology field teams (as approved) to support coordinated, compliant engagement and a consistent experience for product treatment sites.

  • Build trusted business relationships with site operational leaders by delivering consistent, reliable, and responsive operational support.

  • Utilize our company generated data and dashboards to assess appropriate site operational metrics (as approved) and identify opportunities for operational improvement.

  • Synthesize site feedback and process insights to help HQ team enhance communication, operational workflows, resources and education

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare or life sciences, including sales, account management, or provider operations/administration

  • Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem

  • Proven track record of working with provider organizations and operational stakeholders to implement workflows for complex therapies

  • Ability to operate effectively in “white space” environments with evolving processes, unclear paths, and multiple dependencies

  • Strong operational problem-solving skills, including identifying process friction points, diagnosing root causes, and coordinating next steps with appropriate stakeholders

  • Ability to build and develop meaningful customer relationships with operational stakeholders at treatment sites

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, internally and externally, with ability to interact with individuals from a variety of cultures and disciplines

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional, matrix organizations
