Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern Mechanical Engineer (Structural or Tooling). In this role, you will support quality with daily processes involving tooling inspection and fabrication inspection department technical support involving design and processes involving complex tooling, measuring equipment, and inspection support. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of mechanical, structural and/or tooling engineering designs. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering or STEM related field such as Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Aerospace or Operations Management degree.

Experience with, or knowledge of Quality Assurance principles

Desired skills

Experience or basic knowledge of aircraft part fabrication and or aircraft assembly
Ability to grasp other software applications required to perform job duties.

Work Schedule Information
