Lockheed Martin RMS is seeking a Systems Engineer (Radar Engineering) - Early Career. In this role, you will perform functional analyses, design trade studies, allocate and develop requirements, carry out integration and test duties, and define systems interfaces by translating customer requirements into system and software specifications. The successful candidate will have experience or knowledge of MATLAB, Python, Unix OS, and/or C++. Must be a US Citizen; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

- Master's degree in Computer Science.

- Proficiency in one or more of the following: Matlab, Python, Unix OS, C++.

- Relevant coursework includes Systems Architecture, Algorithms and Analysis, Data Structures and Algorithms, Principles of Communications Systems, and/or Digital Signal Processing


- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills

- Experience in one or more of the following areas: i) radar control algorithms; ii) modeling and simulation; iii) predictive data filtering techniques (e.g. Kalman filters); and iv) Signal Processing, image processing techniques, and modeling signal processing operations; v) integration & test activities, troubleshooting hardware/software issues in a lab environment

- Relevant coursework includes Systems Architecture, Algorithms and Analysis, Data Structures and Algorithms, Principles of Communications Systems, and/or Digital Signal Processing

- Basic knowledge of Radar Systems and associated applications

- Familiarity with design, tools, and environments for radar systems and subsystems for performance analysis and modeling
