About the role:
The Senior Product Manager will join a newly created Upstream Marketing team dedicated to bringing an ICE (Intracardiac Echocardiography) product offering to the Boston Scientific EP portfolio. This person will work closely with the extended Upstream EP Marketing teams for future product development activities. They will formulate and execute ICE strategies to best drive ICE adoption and growth of FARAPULSE Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) cases.
The Senior Product Manager role will represent the broader development team when interacting with Physicians at Advisory Boards, Innovation Center visits, animal labs, and other meetings with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). They must identify and prioritize physician feedback and use those meetings to best inform the Franchise of future development opportunities. They will be responsible for content creation, content delivery, and turning feedback into action plans with KOL events. They will work closely with a cross-functional team and will need to be able to manage multiple development projects in parallel, independently with minimal supervision.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Upstream activities for the ICE console and considering how to best integrate that console with the FARAPULSE and OPAL HDx systems. This will include creating user needs, business inputs, collecting voice-of-customer (VOC) feedback, and outlining future iterations or improvements for the ICE console and compatibility with the ICE catheter

All ICE accessories, including (but not limited to) cables and pedals - defining user needs, business inputs, collecting VOC feedback, and outlining future iterations or improvements for those accessories and their compatibility with the ICE catheter

Assessing the need for Boston Scientific ICE accessories to be compatible with 3rd party imaging consoles/systems.

Tracking trends in competitive ICE offerings, including reprocessing trends in catheters.

Market research for the ICE marketing and development team, including (but not limited to) qualitative and quantitative studies; Attitude, trends, and usage reports; and synthesizing data.

Influencing Global Marketing, Sales Training, R&D Engineering, Regulatory, and Medical Education teams/functions to set up the Franchise for successful product launches. This includes providing ongoing support to Sales such as education, resources & collateral.

Supporting additional ICE related development activities for future ICE catheters and accessories.

Required qualifications:

Completion of undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science or Arts)

3+ years of prior experience in product management, healthcare marketing, cardiac sales, imaging/mapping clinical support, and/or R&D engineering

Proven track record of Physician and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement

Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and partner with internal/external stakeholders

Ability to engage and influence cross-functional colleagues, even without direct reporting relationships

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to mobilize key stakeholders and engage leadership

Ability to travel 20% - 30% of time in role, both domestic and international travel
