Position Summary
This career service regional position has responsibility for review of all residential licensing applications received and processing of applications within required timeframes as well as issuance of approved licenses and denial of licensing applications per guidelines.
The Work You Will Do
Receive new licensing application and review for completeness. Provide feedback to the applicant in writing for any errors, omissions or additional documentation required within 30 days of receipt of the licensing application.
Complete review of the application and approve or deny the application within 90 days of receipt of a complete application including issuance of the license.
Complete the Central Abuse Hotline Records Search (CAHRS) form for each licensing application received to ensure the licensee or applicant does not have verified findings of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
Verify that the licensee or applicant has provided documentation to verify that the licensee or application has checked the FDLE sex offender/ predator database to determine if there are any registrants within a one-mile radius of the licensed/proposed licensed home.
