We value work–life balance, offering flexible work arrangements, and wellbeing initiatives that help you thrive both personally and professionally.</p> <p>Now, let’s explore this exciting opportunity so that you can be part of our mission.</p> <p> </p> <p>The role covers all aspects of</p> <ul> <li>Independently Executing standard operational pricing tasks</li> <li>Regularly contributing to the development of pricing methods and tools</li> <li>Coordinating and participating in / executing P&amp;M projects and studies</li> </ul> <p>Starting to provide technical guidance and training of junior staff and interns</p> <p><strong><u>Key duties and responsibilities</u></strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Standard Operational Pricing tasks: The individual in this role will independently execute the following tasks with a high level of knowledge and experience:</p> <ul> <li>Perform standard operational pricing tasks related to data management (checking, capturing, reprocessing, importing) and modelling (loss model creation, data &amp; indices assignment, modelling, calibration, blending, catastrophe accumulation)</li> <li>Support the adequate communication and collaboration within the nearshore team and with the onshore teams to ensure smooth renewal process following pricing/modelling guidelines</li> <li>Participation to annual studies, Standard dashboard creation, Testing and development of new methods/tools</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Assist in R&amp;D activities to improve SCOR’s view of risks and the pricing and modelling models, in close collaboration with P&amp;C operations (Non-Cat R&amp;D).</p> <p> </p> <p>Participate in the development and sharing of knowledge across teams.</p> <p> </p> <p>P&amp;M activities, processes and methods improvement: </p> <ul> <li>Participate in the evaluation and enhancement of the P&amp;M processes, workflows, methods, tools (xAct, vendor models, new tools, ...), identifying opportunities for automation, standardisation and streamlining to gain efficiency, focus on the creation of innovative and tailor-made solutions adapted to the change in portfolio mix.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Projects:</p> <ul> <li>Participate in projects, working closely with onshore teams and collaborating with P&amp;C Operations and other stakeholders.</li> <li>Lead projects.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Help expand SCOR’s Analytical Capabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Tools: develop code, support testing and maintenance, and collaborate with IT.</li> <li>Functionalities: Consult stakeholders to ensure user feedback and findings following release of new tools are incorporated </li> <li>Data Analysis:  extract insights from data to support decision-making within pricing / modelling teams, underwriting functions and management.</li> <li>Dataflows:  Maintain and streamline dataflows in Pricing &amp; Modelling, P&amp;C, and Group databases (PANEL, ARC Sandbox, Foundry)</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Required experience &amp; competencies</u></strong></p> <p>Required experience: </p> <ul> <li>Moderate work experience in the financial services industry, preferably in reinsurance/insurance with a focus on analytical and/or actuarial work, for instance the development and structuring of reinsurance products, financial instruments, and pricing tools</li> <li>Strong mathematical, modelling, technical background, expertise in digital technology</li> <li>Knowledge in P&amp;C lines of business and reinsurance underwriting is an advantage</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Personal Competencies: </p> <ul> <li>Highly motivated and driven individual who has the maturity to work with a diverse group of personalities.</li> <li>Strong work ethics and ability to work in a rapidly changing and complex environment</li> <li>Strong organizational and time management skills required</li> <li>Advanced communication and collaboration skills with effective interpersonal verbal and written skills to communicate with non-technical colleagues </li> <li>Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Proficiency in Excel).
