Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for a Manager, IT Engineering (OpenText) to lead a team of OpenText engineers. This role includes overseeing implementation projects, continual improvements, and OpenText archiving (OT xECM) and printing (OT Exstream) support/operational efforts. This leader will be responsible to oversee a team of employees and support contractors. They will ensure all applicable lifecycle processes and operational best practices are followed. This position is responsible for defining and driving the archiving and printing strategy.
To be considered, qualified candidates must live in the St. Paul/Minneapolis, MN surrounding area, in order to work a HYBRID schedule (3-days per week at the corporate office located in Inver Grove Heights, MN).
Responsibilities
- Establish a vision for Enterprise archiving solution and Printing solution aligned with CHS Information Technology Strategy. The overall objective will be to drive operational excellence, increase business productivity while also enabling disruptive innovation.
- Translate vision into strategies, roadmaps, and annual plans.
- Collaborate with the product owner to align team efforts on priorities, using agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery practices.
- Introduce new technologies and processes into our organization to continually challenge how we work.
- Provide delivery of complex technical solutions and execute archiving product initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and enhance delivery processes utilizing agile, Scrum, DevOps, ITIL and other appropriate frameworks and methodologies.
- Continually drive improvements in key application development and infrastructure reliability metrics.
- Indoctrinate a focus on continuous improvement Lean process improvement events.
- Provide technical and non-technical guidance to team members.
- Act as a servant leader.
- Give back to the community both internally and externally.
- Grow people in an environment of empowerment by attracting, retaining, and developing talent.
- Continuously improve the knowledge and skill of employees through training, education, and mentoring.

- Give direction to offshore consulting services.
- Perform other general duties of the position.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Management, or related field (or equivalent years of experience, education and training)
- 4+ years of experience with progressive responsibility to include:
- OpenText / SAP technology experience (i.e., Configuration, infrastructure, security, development and/or architecture)
- IT technical leadership experience (technical lead, architecture, or team lead) to include:
- Ability to manage multiple technical teams and delivery of complex solutions
- Ability to provide technical direction to direct reports as well as resources outside of direct control
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including small and large group presentation
- Knowledge and understanding of process creation, deployment, and application development
- Ability to influence others both within and outside span of control
