About the role

OVERVIEW We are seeking a Senior Business Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives within a banking and financial services environment. This role requires a highly hands-on, delivery-focused project manager who is comfortable operating in fast-paced, regulated settings while partnering closely with senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving execution, managing risk, and ensuring delivery of strategic business initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex business initiatives across business and technology teams.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and budgets.
Drive day-to-day execution, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
Facilitate governance forums, status reporting, and executive communications.
Proactively identify risks and issues, and drive resolution with appropriate stakeholders.
Coordinate across product, technology, operations, risk, and compliance partners.
Manage demanding stakeholders and senior leadership expectations with confidence and clarity.
Ensure alignment to enterprise project management standards and best practices.
Support change management, communication, and implementation readiness activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

5–7+ years of hands-on project management experience within banking or financial services.
Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence.
Comfortable operating “in the weeds” while maintaining a strategic delivery view.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and practices.
PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
Highly organized, proactive, and delivery-driven.
