Your role
The Sr. Workday Analyst, HRIS – Core HCM/Compensation will play a key role in the Global HR Operations Team by contributing to several components of Vantive’s HRIS strategy at a Global, Regional and Functional level. They will be responsible for running Core HCM, Compensation and Advance Compensation (annual cycle) system administration in Workday deployed at Vantive.
What you'll be doing
Driving the upcoming Workday system implementation of critical functionality in the Core HR / HCM/Compensation area.
Maintaining the various compensation plans and compensation eligibility rules for Vantive’s global employee populations.
Managing the system administration for functionality in the Core HR / Compensation area, which would involve the research, design, testing, and implementation of new features and improvements.
Document technology specifications for current and future configuration.
Partner with the other Workday team members, IT, business partners, vendors, and business leaders to effectively meet the HR technology needs of the organization.
Maintaining measurement mechanisms & analyzing data to determine impact of HR Operations programs; making recommendations to management based upon analysis.
Review business procedures/workflows to ensure system features are being fully utilized and identify Workday features that may improve efficiency.
Develop relationships with the global HR Operations, Total Rewards CoE, HR IT, and other multi-functional teams to support HRIS activities.
Function as support to business partners and work to enhance their understanding of Workday
Playing a supporting role in the system administration and continuous enhancements in other system areas like Recruiting / Talent Acquisition, Talent & Performance Management, Reporting and Analytics.
Continuously seeking opportunities to simplify and / or improve the efficiency of process flows, data structures, reports and dashboards, as well as overall end-user experience.
Perform additional Workday administrative functions including tenant configuration, data loads, integrations support, and reporting
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or other analytically driven subject areas. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
5+ years of HRIS /HR Operations experience required.
3-5+ years’ Workday HCM/Compensation experience is required.
Ability to mass load information via EIBs.
Knowledge on how to create reports and use them in auditing configuration change effectiveness. Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, and the ability to apply these skills to project work.
Solid project planning and project management skills.
Ability to convey ideas and recommendations to a wide variety of audiences at all levels in a clear, compelling, and succinct way in written and verbal communications.
Ability to partner effectively with key groups in a matrix environment.
Prior experience with Workday system implementation is a plus.
Workday Pro or Workday Certifications is a plus.
